Many large multi-store, national or international businesses have a no-questions-asked, open-ended Returns Policy. But they have high profit margins and the significant costs of implementing such a policy can easily be absorbed.
We too once had a similar policy but, unfortunatly it was too frequently misused by a few customers and we have had to make changes. Unlike those multi-national companies, the profit margins in the shopfitting and display industry are not sufficient to absorb the costs involved.
Yes, we know that you want to be able to purchase our products with confidence. And that is our aim. Our preference is to make sure that you get the right product for the job the first time without delays caused by returns and replacements. We help by providing heaps of product descriptions, product images, dimensions, videos, informative blogs and videos. And we are here to answer any concern you might have before you make your purchase.
Whether you buy products from any online store or from a "bricks and mortar" business, under Australian Consumer Law, those products come with an automatic guarantee that they will work and do what they are designed for. If the product has a major problem you can choose a refund or exchange. Examples of major problems include:
If you choose to keep the product covered by this law you can ask us to compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair it within a reasonable time. If we do not repair it in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.
We do not have more than a few requests for returns. Most of those are covered by the law and are usually one of the above-listed examples.
Of course we will replace or repair it. No questions asked. And in most cases we will pay for the freight for any replacement. We will arrange for our freighting company to pickup the order.
